After raising my family, I enrolled in a Foundation Art Diploma at Brooklands College in Weybridge. My final major project focused on textile design. When the course came to an end, I was fortunate to be offered a position as an Art Technician within the department.
I spent ten fulfilling years there, immersed in a creative and inspiring environment. Today, I work from a small studio in my garden where I explore printmaking and collage.
My current focus is on gel plate printing, using a gelatine mat and layers of acrylic paint. I incorporate paper-cut masks, leaves, and found objects into my process to create designs that are spontaneous and one-of-a-kind. No two prints are ever the same—subtle changes in technique, materials, and even the humidity or temperature can influence the final result. I’m drawn to the unexpected nature of this medium, where each piece evolves through experimentation and chance.
Over the past decade, I’ve spent extended time in Pembrokeshire, Oregon, and Alaska. The drama and raw beauty of these landscapes have left a deep impression on me, and
