Louise Rowe
Louise uses a range of approaches to image making, taking the relationship between sea and land as a starting point. She uses free style paint marks to create real and imagined views with cracked and broken forms. Louise often uses gold leaf as a background to intimate drawings of wildlife and local scenes. Louise is also known for her original thumbprint paintings – made up of small images that connect to each other, to form one larger picture.
