Teresa Zerafa Byrne is a British/Maltese multidisciplinary artist and a recent graduate of the MA Art & Science course at Central Saint Martins, interested with the formation and recollection of memory and its vulnerabilities.

Her paintings are drawn from memories and abstracted such that the elements collate to form an emotional response using colour rather than a literal interpretation, often calling upon her own experiences and childhood memories from Malta as source material.

Teresa constantly explores her use of materials and likes to employ new and different techniques in the production of her works, for instance the acrylic glass pieces consist of numerous layers of paints and inks applied directly to the acrylic glass which are then viewed from the ‘underside’.
