Consuelo Radclyffe

An instinctive artist, Consuelo’s childhood memories are the main inspiration for her ceramic creations.  Her figures are described variously as joyful, weird and dark and are crafted from clay, wire, paper and fabric.

The human and animal forms are born out of memories of growing up  in Brazil – they are expressions of emotions, moments in time, moods and experiences.

Whilst simple in conception, Consuelo’s figures reflect the spirit of their creator – embodying and communicating her feelings of poignancy, reflection and glee in their creation.

She also makes beautiful home wares such as vases.
