Yulia Robinson

A London-based artist, Yulia uses mixed-media to create figurative paintings within a variety of abstract language. Her artwork is often characterised by gestural brush strokes, mark making and spontaneity Using techniques like blowing, dripping bleaching she allows her paint to create unexpected forms.

 

Often large in scale, her works are intense in colour, rich in texture, impulsive and deeply expressive. There's a great sense of movement and rhythm in Yulia's work, particularly in her recent collection of dynamic images.
