Dilys Foster

A self-taught artist, Dilys’ work is very much inspired by the colours and contours of the natural world.
She is always learning and exploring new approaches and techniques in her art making. Her current focus is on using landscape as a starting place to make both literal and abstract images in acrylic and mixed media on canvas and paper.

Dilys’ work and colour palette are strongly influenced by a love of outdoor spaces such as our local parks and favourite locations in the Scottish Highlands & Islands. Her contemporary artistic influences include Carole Baker, and Tracey Verdugo.  She finds great joy and fulfilment in painting and hopes those feelings are conveyed through her images.
